Pros

There are a lot wonderful & talented human beings in the Barcelona team

Cons

- There are too many politically minded senior leaders in Seattle (it wasn't the case previously) - Centralised decision making in Seattle. - International Strategy is also centralised in Seattle and is based only on data but gives little to no weight or value to local (European) knowledge & experience - Slow, complicated and often incomprehensible decision matrix/making process.

Pros

Working at Rover has made me more appreciative over time, not less. Leadership is thoughtful, capable, and accessible. My coworkers are smart, curious, and genuinely good people—I learn from them every day. The team takes Rover’s values seriously and puts people first. The product isn’t perfect, but there’s real momentum to improve, modernize, and deliver more value to customers. It’s refreshing to work somewhere that does good work with good people, without sacrificing work-life balance to get there. I’m grateful for the experience—and aware it’s set a high bar for whatever comes next.

Cons

No workplace is perfect, and Rover isn’t an exception—but the downsides aren’t significant enough to be dealbreakers, in my opinion, especially if you’re looking for a company operating at our current stage and level of maturity.
