Cons

- Prepare to be working 24/7. You just have to waive to have a personal life so say goodbye to your love ones before joining. - Low salaries, high rotation (they do not intent you to stay just exploit you until you leave), average work time is 12-14 h /day. Don't even think to leave before your direct manager even if you have finished the work for the day, unless you want to have a conversation with HR and your boss. - Workload impossible to manage; lack of any sort of resources as rotation is a real issue there. - You work on a crowded pool and space with old wasted furniture and old PCs. Noisy environment. You can't really have a private phone call. HR policies just do not exist. - Look away if you don't like to constantly flatter and laugh your boss' jokes even if you know that is not the right way to do something. - Paid vending machines. Forget to eat something when you work overnight if you don't have cash. - No perks of any kind. - Partners, associates and senior lawyers will try to manipulate you deceiving that this is the life of a lawyer. No business or work ethics is just managers exploiting subordinates. - Only Windows allowed. You can't work remotely under any circumstance, they want you to spend hours and hours at the firm. - Are you 10 min late in the morning and ended up a call at 4am the day before? be prepare for a reprimand. - Do you have personal issue / sickness and you have to leave the office? You'll be judged. - No processes / templates / organization. All is too old school and manual so you spend hours and hours to create documents from scratch. - Forget to have vacation days. You only get August and work remotely in Xmas; as all lawyers leave in August you need to be working remotely anyway as there are no backups, which basically means trying to manage clients, bosses while you're away but work anyway. - You'll feel constantly threaten to be dismissed (either subtly or otherwise) or they'll try to put the blame on you for anything. Management just rule by fear. - Mainly males. Chauvinism at its best: Females are on support staff. Female lawyers we leave after 1-2 years. Sexist language, even when women are around. - Most disgusting experience in my life, I highly don't recommend to work there.
