Manager - Sales Manager Roto Employee Review

Very interesting and engaging projects and clients. Satisfying, engaging, challenging work. Intelligent, creative, friendly people. Intelligent and friendly CEO who I trusted a lot. Makes smart, informed leadership decisions. Some troublesome members in company leadership team but overall it is a good group. Even when the economy was not great and business outlook was not certain, I felt confident that the CEO and leadership team was doing the right things to try to keep the company afloat. Well structured with good systems and policies. People like to complain at Roto (everyone loves to complain) but after working at other companies post-Roto, I've realized that Roto has it together much more than other places that do similar things in the same industry.

Bad pay, especially within engineering team. The salaries listed in Glassdoor are not accurate. Not a ton of room to grow. Not very diverse either. It's in the suburbs of Columbus Ohio. Maybe that's a pro for you but for me, it was one of the main reasons I left.. middle of nowhere.

People are very kind and you get to work on creative and interesting projects . You also get to learn many different skills through solving problems for the projects. Great company if you are looking for a media art career.

Not a great salary for a software job.
