Poor Management Practices, Platitudes and Delusion - Human Resources Rotherham NHS Foundation trust Employee Review

Workload pressures are unrealistic, executive leadership does not listen - they do not spend enough time listening to staff and understanding the nature of work; HR leadership has gutted the department; Lacking in clarity and understanding of the nature of being operational/on the receiving end of endless NHS England dictats and pressure from divisions; Exec colleagues lack in empathy and are only bothered about looking good in front of each other - they create and brand initiatives to show off at committees instead of taking the time to understand the real issues; Lack of committment to EDI, there is a good plan but inappropriate resourcing levels and lack of leadership visibility on messages, commitments or championing things. Job evaluation is below comparable Trusts - some roles have excessive levels of responsibilities compared the private sector or comparable Trusts. Excessive workloads and unrealistic expectations. No budget or support for staff development. Favouritism at play - sometimes roles are created at the expense of other roles in the department, it has created coordination issues and resentment amongst the department. Individual is paid a lot compared to other roles across the department and it is not comparable to roles in other Trusts.
