Pros
Great people for the most part. (Referring only to peers) and the work can be fun if you let it be. There is a lot to learn but people will help you out. They have pretty good benefits and the pay isn't terrible for the work.
Cons
Leadership sucks big time. The "good old boy" system is a major factor and the manager is pretty inept where people are concerned. Sure he knows the truck building but has the leadership skills of a tree. No upward mobility that I can see. Managers choose their subordinate managers based on who they like rather than what they know.
