I started at ROQ with a background in manual testing and have been given fantastic exposure to automation testing, tools, and frameworks. The company really invests in upskilling and provides opportunities to learn and apply new skills on real projects. The culture is supportive and collaborative, with approachable leadership and colleagues always willing to help. Work–life balance is good, overall a great place to work in.
Cons
As with most consultancies, workload and projects can vary, but support from the team helps to manage this well.

Hi there!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It is wonderful to hear that you have felt supported in building your automation testing skills and that our focus on learning and collaboration has had such a positive impact. We are really proud of the culture our team has created and it means a lot to know that you have found it welcoming and encouraging.
You make a great point about the variation that can come with consultancy work, and we are glad to hear that the team support has helped you manage this.
We truly appreciate your feedback and will continue to provide opportunities for everyone to grow, learn and explore new areas of testing. Thank you for being part of Roq and for everything you contribute to the team!
* Friendly and supportive colleagues.
*Client Support Managers and team members are generally helpful and pleasant to work with.
* Good collaboration at the team level.
Cons
* Leadership appears to be heavily focused on delivery and business outcomes, often at the expense of employee wellbeing and work-life balance.
* When issues arise, accountability is not always shared appropriately, and responsibility can sometimes be pushed down to individual contributors rather than being addressed at a leadership level.
* Job security is a concern. The company has previously undergone significant redundancies after periods of aggressive hiring, and there are signs of a similar pattern occurring again.
* It is difficult to understand the rationale behind continued hiring when there appears to be uncertainty around business growth and workforce requirements. This can create anxiety and uncertainty for employees.
