Senior Leadership is made up of everything but leadership experience. Lack of business experience at the top level results in continuing poor decision making. People from a specific ethnicity group are specially target of HR with CEOs support. Diversity is a far cry. Within last year there has been a mass migration of talent which included 90% of people of a specific ethnicity leaving the company. Policies created by HR and supported by top leadership creating environment conducive to accelerating such departures. A culture of “appeasement” has taken strong roots. People are not respected for their talent or performance but how much they can appease their leaders. Leadership has created an “echo chamber” culture where logical difference of opinion is “end of the road”. Sycophancy is the only way to move up. A company which started strong, now resembles a rudderless ship with no captain and lost crew members.
