Pros
- Competitive pay and benefits - Good grow and learning opportunities
Cons
- Work life balance - Stressful workplace - Limited Creativity We've been implementing the OKRs model for a few quarters now. The leadership is fixated on achieving their OKRs quickly, which means they're pushing for features to be completed ASAP. However, they also expect bug-free releases simultaneously, which seems nearly impossible. Meeting their expectations often requires working extra hours. Unfortunately, our tech foundation isn't very strong, as the codebase originated from a dev shop as an MVP. Despite the team's ability to quickly fix issues, the codebase is now quite fragile due to added layers of complexity. The leadership wants fewer bugs but is reluctant to invest time in refactoring code, which isn't directly aligned with any OKRs. This approach risks creating delays in the future that they may not yet realize.
