Pros

-Exclusive relationships and exclusive searches! This leads to a MUCH higher close ratio than most recruiting seats at other firms. So you get paid for the work you do as opposed to spinning your wheels and working on contingent searches that you submit candidates for and then never get feedback, or lose out to another search firm. -Compensation - there is a generous base salary (not a draw), plus commissions on every closed deal. The positions we work on are over $100k on average with a higher fee % than most contingent recruiting firms. -Flexibility - there's flexibility to work from home and from the office. If you need to come in late or leave early for stuff, that's never a problem. It's a professional environment so as long as we're getting our work done, you can figure out what works for you. - Fun - whether it's all of us going out for lunch, or going on our annual ski trip in Utah, or holiday dinners, or just blasting music in the office, we have a good time! - Client interaction and the opportunity to get into sales. The recruiters are involved with the clients up front on intake calls as well as ongoing update calls so you can hear and get feedback directly. We also try to get out and see clients and do tours of the facilities which the recruiters are invited too. This also exposes you to sales if that was something you wanted to get into and you can learn what works to help start getting your own customers.

Cons

- There's not a ton of process in place, which is an ongoing work in progress. But that's also part of what I like too because you don't get bogged down by the admin work and KPIs and metrics and meetings...you just source good talent and get paid for it. It's pretty straight forward.

Pros

RH works with High-level executives and works directly with the business. Conversations and communication is great. You'll learn about Private Equity.

Cons

In-office and not remote, but it seems to produce better results in their industry.

Pros

Commission structure and base salary was strong and competitive They get lunch often and the other team members are kind and open and honest about the reality of working there, which is appreciated.

Cons

Fox news is on in the office almost everyday, be ready to hear about Dan's political opinions constantly whether anyone asked or not. Your day fully depends on how Dan's day goes, so everyday is truly different. You might be thrown under the bus if you do something that they tell you to and it doesn't work out well. Because there's no metrics or structure, there's also a lack of accountability, so no matter how hard you might be working, if Dan doesn't see it, then you haven't done anything. If you go on vacation, be ready to be thrown in a loop of punishment where you won't get any new jobs because you don't seem "trustworthy". Lastly, WFH doesn't exist here. If you ask to WFH, that's a day off in Dan's eyes. Also, although everyone's kind, it's best to keep to yourself so you can get your work done. Dan was great in the beginning, but you realize the gossiping that goes on and you hear things about yourself that Dan won't approach you about, so you truly never know if you're doing good or bad. It's a good place to work if you're in your 40's, love politics, and can tolerate mood swings of a 60 year old daily.
