Pros

- Rocket has a genuinely strong culture built around smart, supportive people who care about doing great work without ego. Leadership is transparent and approachable, and there’s a real effort to keep everyone informed about what’s happening across the business. - They invest in individual growth, whether that’s upskilling, exploring new areas, or just being supported in your role. It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all approach; people are treated as individuals and supported to grow their careers in the directions they want. - There’s also a strong focus on innovation, particularly around AI. As an OpenAI service partner, there’s a genuine effort to integrate AI into everyday workflows in practical ways. It’s not treated as a buzzword — teams are actively sharing knowledge, building processes, and finding ways to use it to improve efficiency and output.

Cons

- Like most agencies, there are periods where things get busy and deadlines can feel tight. While it can be fast-paced, there’s an understanding of balance and an openness to conversations if things feel too heavy. Leadership is receptive and proactive when it comes to addressing workload challenges, whether that’s hiring, redistributing work, or reassessing priorities. - As the business continues to grow, there are still opportunities to improve cross-team collaboration and alignment, but there’s already awareness of this and steps being taken to improve it.

Pros

- smart, caring people, no egos - experts in all areas - independent agency - founders work in the business - leadership team is on-the-ball and proactive - 'no jerks' policy applies to employees and clients - people-first culture and benefits (hybrid, extra week of leave, birthday leave, competitive salaries, anniversary experience, social events, lunches) - committed to long-term growth and success of clients, employees and business - innovative and constantly evolving services, products - great business model - secure and profitable - always busy, never boring or nothing to do

Cons

- teams are siloed and need to be more integrated (leadership team are aware of this and working towards solutions) - more cross-team support and a shift towards a one-goal, one-team culture required (this is happening for the most part, but one uninformed voice can create unnecessary barriers between teams) - running at capacity with high expectations and tight deadlines can be overwhelming and stressful at times (however, capacity is assessed regularly and recruitment process is fast to help alleviate the pressure on teams and individuals asap)
