Pros

A global leader in contemporary design, this company offers unmatched opportunities for growth and development. For driven professionals with a strong work ethic and passion for design, it’s an incredible place to build a career. This is not your typical retail job—those who treat it that way may find the pace and expectations overwhelming. However, the company invests heavily in your success, offering extensive training, hands-on coaching, dedicated HR support, and collaboration across departments. I had the privilege of working there for 13 years, and it was truly one of the most rewarding chapters of my professional life.

Cons

The role demands hard work and full accountability—there’s no room to hide or coast. Client expectations can be high, and the pace is fast. To succeed at the highest level, long hours and consistent effort are often required. It’s not for everyone, but those who thrive under pressure will find it highly rewarding.

Pros

Overall, the work environment is excellent, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Once you reach management levels, there are also chances to travel nationally and internationally. Annual bonuses and raises are consistent, which is a great benefit.

Cons

Certain functions do not have a clear career path available.

Pros

Projects are enjoyable. Work hours are nice, 9:45-5:00pm weekdays, 11:45-5:00pm on Sundays. Varies by location. Generous with bonuses, dependent on sale performance but some cases, bonuses are paid out for general performance. Sort of flexible schedule.

Cons

Pay is not that great. Although workload varies from little to a lot, I believe with the current times, starting pay should at least be increased. Training for the programs is also limited. Very little onboarding for 3D Designers, makes it difficult to gauge what is expected of them. Miscellaneous tasks to fill time when there are not many projects going on feels like its not part of your role, but they expect you to do them. The worst is the black out months. For 4 months throughout the year, you can't take time off due to various sales that happen for those 4 months. May vary by location but typically, Jan, May, July, and October.
