Pros
Most of the people you'll work with are warm, intelligent and a joy to work with. It's also a really great opportunity for those in Sales or Customer Service who just want to get experience. You get handed a lot of responsibilities and you learn a lot in a short period of time.
Cons
They mandate that you work ten hours of overtime every pay period but then do not pay you for it since you are salary. However, if you go ten minutes over on lunch you are docked on your paycheck. It's privately owned and the CEO is emotional and micro-managing. You have to get every little thing approved directly from him, and it's common place to ask his secretary, "How's Tom's mood today?" because everyone knows if it's bad you are not getting your things signed and you will have yet another disappointed customer on your hands. He let's his emotions dictate his decisions and this jeopardizes your commissions. Every department is working against each other and no one will go out of their way to help you. Many of the employees who've been here for a long time are related to the CEO and are so complacent and lazy you can never get anything done in a timely manner. Basically this job sucks every ounce of life out of you and pays you the absolute bare minimum. I'm getting out as soon as possible.
