Pay is pretty good for the job

Benefits are not that good

Meaningful work, mostly friendly coworkers. Director was accommodating to personal needs. Pay wasn’t great but was decent for the cost of living there.

Was unable to move up without leaving. People we do move up put in decades waiting on promotions. I was passed over for less qualified, less effective people because they’d been there longer and it was “their turn”.
