Pros

Most of the staff has worked for many years and have known one another for a very long time. Nothing is wrong with that, just not a lot of room to grow.

Cons

Did not feel welcomed by staff.

Pros

I learned a lot in my time at Roadside. I mostly read scripts and wrote coverage, which helped me discover a passion for the development side of film. Most of the staff are happy to talk about their jobs so you can understand the different career paths. I definitely got a great overview of what working at a production company entails.

Cons

The pay is minimum wage for the internship, although that's pretty standard across the industry. Some of the work can be tedious like entering data (but most of the time, you're doing more engaging work like script coverage, decks, or publicity research)
