Pros

- Pay is excellent - + 4 hours Paid time off every two weeks - 40 hours unplanned time off per year - clean, modern, well kept facility throughout. - some departments are perfect for introverted workers -Good plans for benefits ( paid tuition (if your major correlates to your job) after a year, paid maternal + paternal leave, paid military leave.

Cons

-food selection during night shift does not come close to food selection during day shift. -No pay during lunch plus the cafeteria profits off the workers. Even more so after they raised prices a year ago. -You may get lucky with your team and group lead, but it seems they all get constant complaints for weird reasons from upper management. Some group leads take it out on their team members. Some don't, so be wary of this and if you notice ask for department transfer asap.

Pros

-Salary -Benefits -Training for technicians is improving

Cons

-Pay rates for new hires will not be as high as mine was. -Benefits get worse and more expensive every year. -Extremely high stress. -FRT times for many repairs are unrealistic -Communication between technicians, service advisors and customers is astonishingly bad. -Upper management for service clearly doesn’t understand what goes into repairing a vehicle. They think it is factory style work and develop unrealistic productivity metrics for the service centers. -Goalposts for metrics are constantly moving. One metric will matter one week, and be completely meaningless the next when another one is put in the spotlight.
