Pros

Some atonomy as long as you are doing what leadership wants.

Cons

Strong focus on financial gains and profit. If financials are down, leadership is focused on "quick fix" solutions rather than long-term strategy.

Pros

I've worked at RiverMend Health from the very beginning, and intimately know the management team and many of the employees. From day one, I've recognized and appreciated management's desire to do things the right way in terms of making good long-term decisions and investments to build a strong foundation whether that be people, infrastructure and/or technology. They have assembled a stellar network of America's most well regarded clinical experts in addiction and eating disorders and are surrounding them with the support, facilities and tools to help them deliver truly scientifically driven care. This company is the real deal and they are going to be successful in bringing their vision to life. I've seen the evolution first hand and what's been achieved since its founding is remarkable. It's a first class company with first class leadership. They are truly dedicated to helping people overcome the ravages of addiction, eating disorders and/or obesity so they can live happy, productive and more meaningful lives. I can't think of a better business to be in. Can you?

Cons

Being a market leader means hard work, dedication, going above and beyond. It's also a relatively new company so it's constantly evolving, learning, adapting. It's a very fast paced environment where smart, flexible, collaborative and motivated people can thrive, others not so much.
