Pros
The people I work with have really become my friends. The benefits are good but you have to work 30 hours min. It's essentially a simple job, but requires a lot of attention to details.
Cons
Like with any retail position, the customers are the hardest part of this job. You are doing about 80% of all the work done behind the pharmacy counter. And the hours aren't so great bc they are retail hours. Unless you have the seniority, you won't be working the 8-4 shift... and you are on your feet the whole shift. Some stores are union stores and some arent. I happen to work at a union store and the union hasn't done anything for us that I have benefitted from. I feel like the non-union store have higher wages and better raises bc they don't have a minimum to go by, where the union has a minimum. So we get a raise every year but it's only about a dime an hour.
