Pros
The best reason to work for Rite Aid is its multiple locations; there's always a Rite Aid by your house. The next best thing is the ease of getting a job, but it only means one thing - high employee turnover and very little satisfaction.
Cons
Rite Aid assumes that its employees are brain dead. There is no encouragement to try and solve problems. Every single thing needs a manager's approval. There are far too many assistant managers, completely out of sync with each others' demands, frantically running around the store. Most customers lose all self-respect and manners when they enter the store. They throw childish fits if the cashier is unable to finish the sale quickly enough (there's a need for a MGR's approval every step of the way, even a pack of gum the customer no longer wants) and treat employees like slaves/indentured servants.
