Pros

Many of my colleagues at Ritani were wonderful people to work with, however I can’t say the same about the CEO and his cohorts. Ritani’s product manager is very kind and supportive and does her best to make it a positive work environment, but ultimately has no say in who stays and who goes.

Cons

The company is run by people from an ultra religious sect who communicate poorly and are out of touch with the modern, secular world. During weekly meetings, the CEO acts like nothing is ever good enough despite having a dedicated staff—nothing satisfies him! Although there are certain employees who have been there for years, they often lay off the newer employees, even if they’re hard working people, because of “budget cuts.” (More like corporate greed; trying to get the most work out of the bare minimum amount of staff needed) After laying off employees, additional responsibilities are then added to the remaining employees’ work loads without giving them raises. If you’re a woman at Ritani, the CEO and CFO will barely acknowledge your existence and will not show you any real respect unless you are higher up in the company.
