Pros

- Lovely people - Great clients - Good training in the PR team - Dog friendly lol - I have a good progression plan set in place, hopefully it will be followed through on

Cons

- A LOT of new starters right now - It can be very full on and fast paced (which does work for me!)

Pros

The people are wicked smart and equally supportive of each other. Their craft is unique and the team is fully passionate about strong results for clients.

Cons

Not all being together with the many offices.

Pros

• Clients and projects are fun and interesting. • Many people in the NYC office seemed nice (though it’s hard to know if that was genuine after my experience).

Cons

• No diversity • They talk a big game on social media, but don’t be fooled by what you see in YouTube videos of parties, office expansions, awards, or revenue milestones. It’s smoke and mirrors. Please, please don’t fall for it like I did. • Like others have shared, I was completely blindsided when I was terminated. I lost my mom, and within three months of that loss, I was let go. Just a week before I was let go, my boss had offered to connect me with his wife who had also lost a parent, a gesture that felt supportive at the time. Then, without warning, negative feedback, or explanation, I was terminated. The only words I heard from my boss in that meeting were, “I’ll let HR fire away.” Cold, transactional, and deeply cruel. • How you treat people during their hardest moments tells me everything I need to know about your character, and this company failed that test miserably. Overall: I am not the only person who sees Rise at Seven for what it truly is, and unfortunately, not the only person who has had an awful experience here. The culture is not supportive, it’s performative. The reality is cold, transactional, and disloyal.
