Pros

-Many career paths to choose from with support, or carve your own path -Great support from leadership gives what feels like 3 years of experience in 1 year -Uncapped earning potential -Advisor access to categories of financial tools makes solving client problems fulfilling -Constantly evolving and growing -Leadership will always advocate for changes/improvements you believe will make your job better / easier / more fulfilling

Cons

Not cons for the right people, but things that could drive off people with these expectations: -requires a degree of self-direction, motivation, and drive. Leadership is there to empower you, but you need to choose and pursue your path with intention. -you will occupy many roles in this position. Sometimes you will be an advisor, a marketer, an event coordinator, or a leader. If you want to be or do one thing only, it will probably take time to carve out that position for yourself. -you never really "clock-out". If you get a call from a client on the weekend asking for quick advice or with a question about one of their accounts, you should probably take the time to answer it. This isn't usually time consuming, but if you're someone that doesn't want to think about work after 5pm no matter what, you may struggle in this role.

Pros

Rise North Capital gave me some of the biggest growth of my life, both personally and professionally. I had learned more skills there than anywhere else, made more money there than I ever had before, and at the same time got to make a real impact in people’s financial lives. I loved the freedom and independence that came with the role. There was no micromanaging and I had a lot of control over my own schedule which helped me foster a lot of growth into becoming a professional and leader. The environment is full of people who want to grow professionally and personally as well. It helped shape my vision of growth in a way bigger than just business. I also really enjoyed the relationship building side of the business, the face to face client interactions and the opportunity to train and develop others. You'll learn how to build and run a practice, not just show up to work.

Cons

This role is not for everyone, it is very entrepreneurial in spirit. If you need a lot of structure or a more traditional setup, this can feel very overwhelming fast. It's a very independent role. There is a slight learning curve, and results usually depend on how much ownership you are willing to take. (good thing though, you'll have a coach to help support you)

Pros

Make your own systems - no instructions provided

Cons

-You get paid by the manger you are under with their personal money not the company - do more than what’s in your job description - anywhere from making cold calls to picking up dry cleaning - no HR = Run - you get little to no benefits because reach manger pays their admins benifits personally - will have mean things said to you if you do not read their mind - no firm wide communication and training on “systems”
