Pros

There's not a single positive thing to say about my experience

Cons

The office is located in a really rundown area of town. Shootouts in the parking lot and streets around the office are common. A few months ago there was a drug bust in the parking lot. As a woman, I don't feel safe at work. There are also no perks or equity given, so combined with a low salary, most people are looking for new opportunities.

We’re sorry to hear this feedback, and wish you would bring these concerns to us in person so we can address them. We are very concerned with safety, but do not agree that Eckington is a run down area of town. There has never been a shootout in our parking lot, though we were also concerned about the marijuana event next door. While we do not offer equity to hourly employees at this time, we do offer laundry credit and paid sick and vacation leave as well as regular pay reviews and office snacks. We are proud of our record in investing in people - multiple employees from this office have been promoted from hourly to salaried and even corporate roles. We’re sorry you are not having the experience you want at Rinse. We’d love to address your concerns if you bring them to us.

I signed up to be a “valet” with Rinse in San Francisco and they kept cancelling my orientation and training shift citing issues with their warehouse and staffing. Every time the next soonest available training wasn’t for another week, and then they would inevitably cancel on me again 2-3 hours before the start of my shift. Huge waste of time and energy, half the time their “support” never even responds to texts.
