Pros

Some of the employees are nice and being allowed to leave is a perk

Cons

The experience was extremely negative. You’re expected to work 8–6, Monday to Friday, often working through your lunch break because the workload is completely unrealistic. It’s particularly frustrating given that everyone is paid minimum wage. The turnover is incredibly high — no one seems to stay longer than three to four months — which speaks volumes. Working with the CEO is especially challenging. He appears to care only about maximising his own profit and routinely “stress tests” employees to their limit. There is no recognition for good work, only threats of demotion or dismissal for even the smallest mistake. The atmosphere is one of fear, not support. The CEO’s behaviour is also deeply concerning; he demonstrates bias, micromanages every task, and creates an environment where people feel they cannot do their jobs properly. Overall, it’s a place where retail — for the same pay — would offer a far better working environment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience at Rightangled did not meet your expectations. We take concerns around workload, working hours, and overall wellbeing very seriously. Our standard working hours include appropriate breaks, and employees should not feel pressured to routinely work through lunch. Where this occurs, it highlights the need for better workload planning and support, which we continually work to improve. High turnover is something we actively monitor and aim to address by refining onboarding, training, and management processes. While some roles can be demanding, particularly in a fast-paced healthcare environment, our intention is never to create an atmosphere of fear or discouragement. Feedback regarding management style and communication is noted. We do not condone bias, intimidation, or a lack of recognition, and we encourage employees to raise concerns through appropriate internal channels so they can be addressed constructively and fairly. Regarding reviews, we do not request or encourage misleading feedback. All employees are free to share their honest experiences, positive or negative, on public platforms. We appreciate you highlighting these issues and wish you the best in your future career.

Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues Hard working culture Company has big growth plans so is a good time to join

Cons

While the job so far has been overall positive, one improvement that could be made is the company focusing more on EVP, however this has been assured that it will be improved in 2026 by implementing more competitive compensations/benefits and improving the company culture.

Pros

Its one of those companies that you know is constantly innovating, creating value and improving processes and procedures. Its a hard work environment where you can get a sense of fulfillment if you are after that feeling.

Cons

Its a cut throat environment, when you join Rightangled you swim or sink. There is not much more to add but this. If you are up to the challenge you will have a blast, but if you have any doubts about your technical or intellectual abilities you wont find it amusing at all.
