Pros

Loved the job, the team. The training days, I really enjoyed working there and giving 100% to my job and trying to go above and beyond for my clients.

Cons

Management were stiff, assistant manager set in ways unless her idea then no one was appreciated. They dont accommodate for single parents or young people to work, I was the youngest in my store at one point. Felt that when faced with staff issues as I was the youngest it was blamed on me and was actually others. Lack of career growth, wanted to climb the chain but was never looked at even when putting myself forward. Lack of empathy for childcare ( I know it’s a business however a single parent with a sick child- they are going to be with there sick child) Kept a member of staff who would make good sales but the returns came back mirrored lack of re training and pulled upon.

Pros

Fast paced, opportunities for growth, commission could be better given the price of merchandise but the items sell themselves and commission adds up. Management is supportive.

Cons

Not much PTO is granted. Can be hard to get days off during busy seasons.

Pros

Company values are awesome. Pay is decent when you can achieve sales goals

Cons

Being a stylist is tough work. Sometimes dealing with clients is difficult but once you find your groove you're set. Commission can make stylist a little too competitive. I fell victim to stolen sales on too many occasions. Upper management is too often oblivious to the struggles of stylists. Employee retention is very poor.
