Brilliant People - Terrible Leadership - Anonymous employee RigUp Employee Review

I came to RigUp at a time when my team was being created. They hired a manager that was extremely ill equipped to manage people. One that repeatedly told us our jobs were safe and that they loved having us. This manager made us work around the clock and then reduced our roles to customer service roles. This manager repeatedly pitted us against each other and asked us to make each other look bad. The platform is being asked to do things way beyond its years and senior management puts inexperienced children in mid level management positions. One of the values that RigUp has is to be able to have the tough conversations. But when you try to have the tough conversations you are labeled as negative and disrespectful. My advice is to do the opposite of all the values and you'll probably have a career for life. I mean, if the company can make it past this year.
