Pros
They pay well, but they don't have a choice. They need people to stay more than 3 months!!
Cons
I have never worked for a company whose management treated their employees so horribly and with zero respect. They show absolutely no appreciation for your contribution to the company. There is a major lack of communication through all departments. They sell themselves as a "family business" that is flexible and easy going, but that is the furthest from the truth. They pay well and they hire top of the market candidates, but cannot retain them as there is absolutely zero culture. Short conversations with your colleagues throughout the day are frowned upon. If you are an EA, admin, receptionist your typical day will be printing and more printing, stocking the kitchen, picking up after the staff, serving the partner’s lunches on trays, paying a few bills and maybe sending out a few calendar invites. They make it impossible to succeed at your job as they don't trust anyone so they provide partial information. If you are in the accounting department and you are a female you will be treated with a lack of respect by your direct superior. I've heard that they want you to "earn their respect" it's not something that is just given. The men working for the company have an easier time. If you were to ask any women who is working or has worked for this company they would say it's much harder to succeed with bosses who believe they are superior to you. The partners of the company will talk down at you and treat you like an idiot. In retrospect I wish I had listened to the recruiting firms that warned me about this company. I was more interested in the pay and thought it would be enough to work in a hostile environment. If you are considering a job with Rieder Holdings, LLC or their partner company BM Eagle I would think twice. I hope this helps!
