Pros

Light side work, good Money when in season

Cons

Drama with all female staff sometimes Major management issues- gossiping, passive-aggressiveness, rude/derogatory remarks, neglects to staff/cut servers according to influx/decline of customers. It can be raining and freezing outside (it’s a primarily outdoor restaurant) and will keep entire staff on for length of the shift. LOTS of walking back and forth due to lack of organization with work stations and placement of server items

Pros

- very friendly staff - supportive family environment - no micromanaging - fantastic food - flexible comfy dress code - staff either seems to stay for many years or not make it through training.

Cons

- three days of untipped training - it’s very misleading during interview about bartending shifts… when you show up to your first training day you find out all bartenders must have 3/4 serving shifts a week to even have maybe 1 bartending shift - no consistency with scheduling - no flexibility with schedule requests - gigantic heavy trays - their training material is outdated, confusing, and doesn’t apply to current menu. Their drinks aren’t consistent with other establishments. If you’re hired for bartending you’ll end up shucking oysters and serving.
