-ministry laws (Ontario) broken continuously - discrimination by management is allowed and when brought up to BDL nothing done - you will only be a number with this company and they truly don't care about their staff - they run the business motto as "none of us is as good as all of us" but management does not follow this - managers at the store I worked at knew they were breaking laws our government set out and did not care - dedication means nothing with this company, they do NOT treat sales associates fairly - staff is expected to sell $600-1000 per shift but only get paid minimum wage - was promised .30 cent an hour raise when hired (2017) and company reneged on that. excuses were made that they could not afford to give the raises they promised. - even employees that have been with the company 10- 15 years do not get the raises they deserve - company is deceptive with customers when stating clothing is "Eco friendly" it comes in pounds and pounds of plastic ( all products that are shipped to stores are) - management at the store I worked at hired family member and took hours from other staff that had been with the company for years - staff are told to push sales until a customer says to stop, this can cause customer satisfaction issues - managers will tell sales associates to do anything to make the sale, and management will not step in if a sales associate is being dishonest about the way the customer looks in the product. This is just to make the sale. - low pay for to much effort for a minimum wage job - not worth staying with this company for long term, you will not be paid what you are worth, even managers with the company for 10 -15 years have disclosed how much they get paid and it is not even a living wage
