Bad Employer - Project Manager Ribenks Employee Review

There are no pros here

Three people run this company: the husband, wife and CFO who appears once a week. The owners live in Beverly Hills and do not pay their staff for weeks. Employees have gotten evicted as they are unable to pay their rent in time. The owner's start one new business after the other never using their own names , so that there is no direct debt in their name. Atrocious business practices. No benefits, no pay raises or incentives. Staff is treated and spoken to in an utter demeaning manner, degraded and embarrassed. Stay away from anything with the Ribenks or Marcovaldo name and anything associated with the owners.

Very friendly staff, all desperate to get paid on time.

Led by a husband and wife team, both very difficult to deal with. It’s a small company with a poor outlook for growth. In my time with them, they did not pay their employees on time, no benefits, no pto. No nothing. One of the owners has a nickname that employees use to refer to her, she treats the staff like slaves and has unrealistic expectations. It’s a really sad situation, while the owners live in a mansion and drive lavish cars, employees receive eviction notices as they often don’t get paid in months. I think that the few employees that they have stay in hopes of a better outlook but the company is not doing well enough to survive.
