Pros

Some sales advice that is taught is correct. Sometimes Tom pays for lunch.

Cons

Toxic owner who refuses to admit he is wrong and will belittle you and than wonder why people leave and just claim they are not cut out for sales. Toxic work culture where if the owner likes you it is harmony but the moment he starts disliking you he will degrade you and sometimes even throw things at you. Avoid at all costs.

I love when people hide behind the anonymous veil and hurl personal assaults as if they are factual. None of what you say is factual, other than the buying lunch (every week, not occasionally…and dinner and events). Moreover, nothing you say makes sense if you did in fact work here for over two years—why would you stay? I keep in contact with everyone who’s worked here over a year, and they are all really good people that would never write these malicious lies. I think that tenure you state is another lie as you try to hide behind anonymity, and you’re probably really upset that you weren’t successful and looking to blame it on somebody, who happens to be me. If that makes you feel better God bless you. Part of being a leader is knowing you are going to get blamed, and I’ll always take the blame and give the credit to others. You come off like a person with deep resentments and an inflated ego and those characteristics are not the culture at Revity, so it is not surprising you were not a fit. We value humility, teamwork, development and support. Evidently, in your short tenure in sales (I’d guess six months) you are a world class guru from transactional sales through enterprise level, and you can assess my entire career. I wish I could have developed those skills in months rather than over the decade it took me, but you’re clearly a sales savant. Or simply further evidence that you lack awareness and possess an inflated ego. I wish two things: One, that I didn’t even need to address your immature diatribe of lies, but it is public so I must. Two, I wish you success with your big company—go show them all those skills you believe you have and report back on your success.

Pros

If you want to become a sales professional, Revity Sales is a perfect company to start your sales journey. Other starting sales positions will not give you the opportunity to be thrown into the business world like a position within this company does. It is a place where you will quickly learn how real business operates and the importance of executing effectively to keep existing clients, and generate new business. As it is a startup, as I have already said, you take on more responsibility than the majority of entry-level positions out there. With this, you have the opportunity to invest in yourself and make a good living, especially if it is your first job out of college. The owner, Tom, has a wealth of experience and success throughout his career, and you have direct access to that knowledge. Additionally, he wants you to succeed not only because it is in his best interest for the company he created, but more importantly because he wants aspiring sales professionals to achieve success and go on to build strong, lasting careers. The two sales managers are highly skilled salesmen who both started here, and their success has been proven time and again. There is a scoreboard in sales, so there is no denying their results. The culture here is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is hardworking as well as genuinely good human beings. Lastly, the company is looking to grow, leaving room for upward mobility if you perform. You truly have every opportunity to succeed here, so it comes down to you. If you enjoy betting on yourself and are a competitive individual, this is a great place to be — you will thrive.

Cons

Sales can be challenging and competitive, requiring resilience and persistence. Success depends heavily on your own effort, this applies to any sales role.

Pros

Revity is a great place to start your sales career. Lots of room for growth, as we are growing very quickly. There is daily training from managers and the office environment is great for an early career professional.

Cons

Nothing specifically I can think of. Sales is up and down, you will have tough days and have to have a short memory.
