Pros

Working at Revenue Accelerator was an incredible learning opportunity for me. Gabriel and the rest of the management team are very open and transparent with how the business operates, and are willing to put people in positions where they have a lot of responsibility. This means that early on through commitment and performance you can be exposed to and responsible for a lot of different work and areas of the business. This responsibility forces you to learn quickly. Revenue Accelerator was a career accelerant for me. I knew I wanted to pursue an entrepreneurial path at some point, and this was an MBA for my career -learning not only how to grow and manage a business inside RevX, but being exposed to so many different businesses across North America and understanding how to scale other businesses is now invaluable in my own entrepreneurial venture. If you are interested in startups and entrepreneurship this is the place to be, as you work with tons of different interesting startups and Gabriel is an experienced entrepreneur who you can learn a lot from.

Cons

High-stress at times and there is a heavy emphasis on performance in the culture. This leads to high performance and pushing yourself, but sometimes can be overwhelming. Minor critique as the team does care about work-life balance, but I think at any organization where people really care about their work this happens. Social gatherings and team culture could have been emphasized more to bring more team cohesiveness as everyone is remote.

Pros

They use the best tools so you get to learn about industry standards in sales, you learn a lot about the business development process which will help you in your career, you are pushed to learn how to cold call because your job will be solely that, they show you the inner workings of the business and are fairly transparent. If you want to improve your skills in BD quickly and learn lots that you will take with you in your sales career then this is a great place to start out. Because all you do is cold call from a list they provide, you can truly leave your job at work, and no one picks up their phone after 4 so you can start and leave early!

Cons

Lots of turnover, cold calling is hard and when you do that all day with nothing else breaking it up, it can be exhausting. Commission structure wasn’t great but if you look at this place as a learning experience then you’re golden. Some management had difficulty managing stress...
