Pros

Set schedule no extended working hours past 9-6 M-F Above average benefits package including 401k match contributions. Relatively low stress environment for a development job. There's a nice old lady working there who's job is pretty much just to make fresh coffee all day. : D

Cons

Very strict scheduling, this is not one of those places you can make your own schedule. Boss has zero tolerance for this. The development is legacy technology based, pretty boring mundane stuff. Mediocre salary and little room for salary increase.

Pros

benefits if you live in NJ good parking.

Cons

The boss is a raging bull in a china shop who likes to slam doors bang on walls yell, and bully employees. This is the type of guy who doesn't have the decency to even say good morning. Oh you just cant leave at the end of the day you have to check in with the boss who likes to waste your time at the end of an already long day, and ask what you did that day, even after having to enter your entire day into the ugliest time management system I have ever seen. Working here is like going back to the 80s. The office is dark, and dreary. Moral is easily lost. There is one bathroom that you have to use a key with every time that has only one stall. There is zero culture here. There is no excitement to come to this job. No room for growth. No holiday parties. Also you are forced to sign over 150 Merry Christmas cards even though you may be Jewish. The best part is they send these Merry Christmas cards to Orthodox Jews. What a slap to their faces. Everyone eats lunch at 12 so guess what your fighting for the microwave. The place is filled to the brim with junk. Junk everywhere. Pinball machines all over the place indicating this may be a fun job, but guess what they are never fired up. This place is a false illusion of a fun place to be. For the record "Happy Holidays" IS SECULAR "Merry Christmas" IS NOT SECULAR. Oh I.T guys make sure you ask for at least 70k that's what they paid the last guy before me. I undervalued myself, and found this out later. :) The funny part is the boss walked around like he was paying me so well with little snippets in passing like " you cost me a lot of money" Please.. you got me at a discount.
