Pros
Working for Reveal has been a tremendous growth opportunity for me, both personally and professionally. The opportunity is limited only by my willingness to embrace it. I came in with lots of experience, but where I am now compared to when I joined a few years back is miles apart. This job makes you better. Being surrounded by smart and dedicated people…you can’t help but embrace a growth mindset.
It is hard work, and not all unicorns and lollipops. But we make a major impact on our clients; real, tangible business value, and more importantly, reduce the human struggle for the people we work with. If you want the opportunity to level-up and make a huge impact on people and businesses, this is a great place to work.
Cons
Traveling roughly 50% depending on role can be a grind, but the work we do really requires sitting next to people at least part of the time. Being a small team, we don’t have a lot of excess capacity, so it can be intense. This not a sit at your desk and coast job. We drive a lot of change and you have to be comfortable drawing a line and saying “this is how you should do it.” That can be tough for someone coming from a traditional consulting mindset of gathering requirements and fixing what the client thinks needs to be fixed. We are advisors, we frequently have to lead clients to places they don’t realize they need to go. These may or may not be a cons for you. Some people thrive while others struggle with this mindset shift.
