Restore Therapy Services Response
9yWe appreciate your comments. In response to them:
When we select someone to manage our therapy team at a facility, we are reviewing their skills, leadership experience (or potential), previous work history. clinical knowledge and communication skills. Our managers go through additional training once hired, including ongoing clinical and managerial education. Contrary to your statement, our decisions are not made based on cost-saving measures, as we invest time and expense into developing our managers.
In regards to our culture and billing concerns: quite the contrary, we take this quite seriously. We train repeatedly on billable services guidelines for therapists and our Code of Ethics. We have a Compliance Officer and Hotline, and a Billing team that reviews reported billing very closely. As you were trained during your employment with us, if you witnessed any issues, under our Code of Ethics or billable service guidelines, you have an obligation to report this to your manager, regional director or our Compliance Officer. You're welcome to contact us after your employment as well. You should have all of our contact information from our orientation and training you received.
Finally, we feel we have a responsibility to be good stewards of our company expenses and not be wasteful. Companies generally are conservative with expenditures for that reason.
