Pros

I would put 1.5 Stars if I could. But definitely not worth 2 stars. It's better than most Warehouse jobs, but there's zero progression. If you value your precious time, avoid at all costs. Work/Life balance is okay, since you're working only 37.5 hours a week, so you have a bit of time to learn something to get out of there. They do pay for your safety shoes, so that's something I guess.

Cons

Highly underpaid (Below liveable wage £17500). Most of the time you'll have to be a self-taught IT Technician to solve their problems. Even if you're doing way more than other people, you'll still get paid the same and be treated as a Warehouse Operative. The office people won't even say hi to you, because you're nothing to them. Zero career opportunities. Even if you manage to learn everything by yourself, you'll just have extra work put on top of you. No Job title changes. No pay rise. Nothing, except extra work. They don't even provide proper chairs for work. The table that you have to work at is made for standing, not sitting, and you'll get splinters from it as well. Most people still use 3rd gen i3 laptops that they have been provided for work. And then they complain that you're not doing enough work. The company's system is something that looks from 2005 and has so many bugs and errors that you have to "learn" to walk around them, even though it shouldn't be done. But hey, the items have to processed somehow, even if it's not really legal, right? Wouldn't recommend to a worst enemy if you somewhat value your time. If you're okay with just sitting at a desk and erasing desktops for the rest of your life with no appreciation, then it's not that bad I guess. So glad I got made redundant. Speaking of which, after making around 15 people redundant because of Covid-19, they just started hiring again. Speak about company loyalty. The Restore Technology has a really nice image on the outside (BBC news, giving laptops to charities(most of these are provided by the clients anyways, the company rarely gives anything away)). But terrible once you're actually inside working there. I could go on and on. The company does so many "barely legal" things as well. It's terrible to work there during the Summer. It's just too hot. During the Winter it's really cold. You have to wear gloves and 3 layers of clothes to stay somewhat warm. So if you're reading this, I'd stay away. Things are only getting worse. They're trying to micromanage you as much as they can. It was slightly better when I started years ago.

Pros

Great deals. Loved all the items that would come in and I had first dibs.

Cons

Too many bosses. There was no real understanding on who you were to report to.
