Pros

Passionate, friendly and very talented teams across all areas of the business. Product is an interesting concept and there is a genuine desire for improvement from staff and middle management

Cons

Startup mindset. The business will not spend money on anything (including hardware, tooling and training) and developers are pushed to keep an ageing system going without being given the support to fix the underlying problems. The CTO is far too involved with the day-to-day business of the company. He constantly bypasses process and causes significant problems which are left to the developers to work around or fix. The company line states that 'taking time out isn't frowned upon' and yet staff feel like they are being timed and clock-watched whenever he is around. He creates an unpleasant atmosphere in the office.

Thanks for your comments. A fast paced business such as ours requires pragmatic, highly motivated, highly focused individuals with lots of energy and we certainly have a very talented team across the whole business. We have a certain window of time to achieve success and this is not for everyone. We're quite open about this in our recruitment process. I somewhat disagree with your comment that time out is frowned upon as we are typically extremely flexible as a business, but I have taken your feedback on-board as this is not a perception we want our employees to have and I am sorry you felt this way. We are a founder led business, which is where the vision, energy and innovation originates. We love process but sometimes pragmatism must prevail for the good of our customers. We will continue to be close to the business until such a time as this has been fully transferred and instilled in the team. We invest millions in our team and platform and these kinds of investments take time to bear fruit.

Pros

By far the strongest on boarding process that I've had the opportunity to work with. The team brought me from 0 - 100 in two weeks time. As a sales executive, you need a deep knowledge of the technology and value positions a product offers. This is an absolute must to gain the confidence needed to bring a product to market. I feel the team did an amazing job covering this key component. While the introductory period was intense, it did also allow for the new U.S. team the opportunity to cement relationships with key contacts within the organization so we can hit the ground running.
