Resource Data Response

Thank you for review and feedback. In response to your comments about our healthcare plan, Human Resources does regularly benchmark our benefit costs and plan designs against other companies of our same size and industry and our offerings are in line with industry standards. However, we do understand that insurance coverage is expensive throughout the industry, and we do continue to work with our broker to explore additional ways to decrease our health care costs. For example, ever since we moved to a self-funded model in 2022, we now have access to tools and data to help us better understand our high costs claims, and programs to help employees improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Both items help to lower our annual renewal increases and premium rates for employees. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to Human Resources.

Pros

- Great pay and very interesting work - Management structure is not complicated, if you want to talk to someone higher up about something, you pretty much always can - Very supportive and diverse environment. Many of the senior management and executive board are women. Personally I began my gender transition here and the CEO herself and all of upper management really was incredibly supportive, I would not be who I am today without these people - The employees really do come first. I had talks with management about how the company would handle financial issues out of my own curiosity. Not only did they sincerely address my inquiries, but each and every measure and plan centered around keeping things stable for employees

Cons

- It is work based around contracts so the flow of work can be stressful at points but overall there was always someone to talk to when you needed to meaningfully effect change

Pros

- Great Co-Workers - Interesting, frequently changing work - Fully transparent management and strategies - Career growth - Professional growth - Hybrid schedule if not deployed onsite full time - Work life balance is not only respected but it is expected. You will never work over 40 hours a week unless you want to.

Cons

- Lower than average salaries, which could change in the near future per management. - Raises are capped at 5% and will only come during your annual review. If you attain a promotion, your pay will most likely be moved as well. - Some might see this as a con, I see it as a pro but most don't share my thinking so I will put it here; Standard here are extremely high. For what they ask of a senior is something you would find most leaders in the IT field unable to do consistently. You have to be on your A game every day here.
