Pros

~Full Time and Benefits ~Closed on Weekends and Holidays ~Training, Certifications and Upward Mobility Available ~Safety First and Wellness/Health Culture ~Company Breakfast Every Week, Summer BBQs and Lunches, Christmas Party ~HR is there for you I have been with the company for a couple years now. It changed hands close to when I started (a few years ago) and has improved dramatically. The management is great. They understand that their employees are people with their own lives and struggles and do their best to accommodate. This company has given me opportunities I would have never gotten anywhere else. They care more about your work ethic than education or fancy titles and want to see you improve!

Cons

The company is growing and evolving so there are still a lot of kinks in the system to work out. There are always inconsistencies and unfairness in any company that get people's blood boiling. There are some seriously busy times of the year and some seriously slow times of the year. This company has "no fat", meaning it feels like we are operating with a skeleton crew. A lot of hard work is expected of every employee and extra hours are expected of most positions.

Pros

It's good to work for a company where they expect a lot, push you to grow, and constantly challenge you. For me, one of the most motivating factors is seeing how hard my boss works and how much effort he puts in. The company does little things to help make it a positive work place, such as breakfast on Fridays, lunches at the end of busy months, and random events. Overall, it is a great place to work and grow.

Cons

Honestly, the biggest downside is negative people on sites like this. The only way I can think to explain it is through a food analogy. When you have a good dinner somewhere, you just enjoy it and move on. Whereas, if you have a horrid experience, you tell everyone and then you tell their sisters. You make sure everyone knows. I think that's what is happening here. Obviously not everyone will fit in the working environment, and so there are bound to be people who are disgruntled. Those people who are happy and who voted Resource Action Programs a finalist for the best places to work are clearly doing well.
