Crazy amounts of call - PACU Nurse Resolute Baptist Hospital Employee Review

Management, Perioperative director and Preop/PACU manager have very poor communication with staff, there are no clear policies for the perioperative services, all reference policies are out of date and "being updated as we speak", the amount of call they require for full time staff is very high, there were days that coworkers or myself would end up working 12 days straight because of weekend call being so heavy. they do not staff much after 6 pm, so any add on surgery is on the oncall staff... who is only 1 nurse.... by themselves all night... with the OR nurse as their "second"... take that how you will
