Pros
My experience at ResMed has been very positive over my 10 year tenure in the motor division of the company. I've been through several companies over the course of my 20+ year career and found that ResMed seems to satisfy my need to constantly grow in my field of choice. In particular, as a manufacturing engineer, it's only with ResMed that I have come to a better understanding of how statistics is used the development and qualification of our processes. I also work with very smart fellow engineers who freely share their knowledge and experiences in helping develop innovated solutions which results in ResMed having the best-in-class products for the treatment of sleep apnea. As an ISO 13485 company, I have become more aware of regulatory requirements and an appreciation for developing processes with quality in mind. Furthermore, our senior management invests a great deal in the development of their employees not only in technical education but also in personal and interpersonal education as well. Overall, I believe ResMed is a top notch company to work for and have personally grown professionally and personally.
Cons
Just like many companies, there are aggressive deadlines and many challenges to deal with. However, this is necessary to stay competitive in our industry.
