People were great to work with

Compensation was not the best

Reservoir Labs was incredible in every way. From the software engineers to the business team and the upper management, everybody was warm and welcoming, and extremely intelligent. I was hired as a software engineering intern for the summer despite my limited programming experience, and in many other companies, I would have floundered. However, my fellow employees, and my project leader were more than generous with their time, and helped me to get up to speed, allowing me to contribute meaningfully in 10 weeks. Reservoir's focus on collaboration over competition is indicative of the intellectual, academic atmosphere exemplified by their extensive library and weekly research discussions. Everyone is hard working and dependable, but at the same time, Reservoir Labs' employees maintain an excellent work-life balance. Every software engineer at Reservoir Labs is more than capable of working at Google or Facebook, but many choose to stay because Reservoir offers something different - a close knit community of talented intellectuals, collaboration, and fulfillment.

I can't think of a single downside to working at Reservoir Labs. Anyone would be lucky to work here!
