There's a palpable energy here at Rep that I've not experienced anywhere else in my career, especially in the Chicago office — there's something special happening there . The product fills a significant need in the marketplace and the leadership has stabilized the more volatile company that they inherited a little more than a year ago. Plenty of opportunity for career growth, and the experience and technical expertise gained is valuable and applicable elsewhere.
Cons
As expected, there have been some growing pains as the company expands that can leave some employees overtaxed. It's silly that there isn't any Commuter Benefits/tax designation available. 401(k) matching would be nice as well.

Pros
*Benefits are a bit pricey, but you'll be well covered
*Great coworkers
*Lunch for in office workers.
Cons
*Constant layoffs. Even after leaving I'm still seeing a lot of former colleagues being let go. Great talent has been let go to cut costs.
*Pay is much lower than industry average and it seems there is no budget to increase pay.
*Platform has bugs and issues that were never resolved by engineering, leaving teams to develop work arounds and frustrating clients.
*For bugs that are addressed, solutions take weeks to months to get fixed frustrating clients and resulting in churn.
*Lack of direction and leadership. All teams are on their own path without clear direction.
*No 401k match.
