Pros

Good location in the former Talisman building, good people, office being refurbished

Cons

It’s a strange company. Repsol and Sinopec been in Arbitration for years, now entering litigation by the looks of it. Unwilling to make major investment as a result. Senior management totally invisible. No townhalls. What is the future strategy? Madrid I appreciate is the parent, but they don’t seem to understand the E&P game. “Specialists” in head office seem like complete clowns despite us being told they are the creme de la creme. Everything commoditised. Madrid getting more involved despite being a Jv partner and not parent company. Fully expect job losses if/when Repsol becomes parent. Most people actively looking for new jobs. A lot of longer term employees are hugely bitter. Madrid love a hugely expensively consultant to tell them what their staff already know.
