Pros
Started out with job description and after learning the job requirements, was left to do my job. It didn't last as some tasks didn't follow the company core values like honesty & safety (company assets, not physical health). Most of the employees (excluding management) are very nice, helpful & fun to work with each day. Customers are punished for nicks & dings on the equipment.
Cons
Like one of the other reviews said, if you are not one of the good ol' boys, you are at risk. Customers are penalized for repairs even with insurance. Insurance is used as an eccesive profit source. If you are not in the click, you are expendable. The more you make the higher the risk losing your job. The core values are impressive, but like many companies, they are talked about but not always followed. Beware, know what you are getting into when you consider working here at R1. Remember, this is family business and family members work here in positions higher than the ground floor closer to Upper Management. Could be having cash issues as there talks about a merger. Or, upper management may be cashing in on equity ownership positions. Do your research.
