Pros

* Staff and management team are great people who operate the business with a high degree of integrity * Management team treats staff well and promotes a work-life balance philosophy with how it runs the business (Renoworks is not a sweatshop) * Great growth opportunities from a career standpoint as the company is diversifying product and service lines and has unique technology on the market * Competitive compensation for a small software company with opportunities to receive stock options and other performance pay for employees who perform * The company has a licensing revenue model (over 50% of revenue is recurring) * The company is innovating and is a leader in the home building products visualization space so staff get to work on cool technology * Management flexible with staff to modify hours as required

Cons

* The company is public which can make it difficult for the company to balance the need to drive revenue in the short term to satisfy markets with making investments to grow the company long term * In a hot oil and gas market in Calgary - you won't make as much working at Renoworks (as energy companies pay large salaries)

Pros

Flexibility and the ability to work remotely

Cons

Underpaid, barely minimum wage, projects are paid based solely on size not complexity/difficulty. A small project could take an hour, but pay is only $15.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, interesting projects

Cons

You will not even make minimum wage. Most projects pay between $15-45 and take at least 2 hours for small projects up to 4 hours for large ones (usually longer if QA needs adjusting). I made more money per day filling out surveys. I suspect AI will take over this job relatively soon anyways.
