I've been laid off in July 2022. I understand the starups dynamics and I know that lay off is part of the game. I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with, is the favoritism they have used to decide who stays and who goes. There was no logical explanation, based on performance, to explain why they have laid off certain people. After months, after you hope that this story will only stay in the past, Remote genius sales team thinks that it is really a brilliant idea to cold-pitch you offering to use Remote as an EoR for the new company that you have joined!!! What a sad move! So disturbing, so stupid, so childish. Show some respect to your past employees. They all helped you to be were you are now as a company. And above all, leave them alone after it was so hard to recover from the shock of being laid off!
