Pros

Christmas Party was awesome. Interesting Coworkers.

Cons

CEO micromanages the company. Manager cannot have any decisions nothing really gets done. CEO treats the company like his hobby and not business. CEO will purse things that do not any business sense, which explains why the company does not make good profit. Poor Quality Management System. Constant daily battle with the company's management system. For Christmas Bonus, we were given a PENCIL SHARPENER.

Pros

- The product and service is of the highest caliber in the industry. - The owners care about the environmental and social impacts of their business. The Brooklyn factory is LEED Gold Certified. - Educational and networking opportunities are regularly provided and supported. - The people who work there are creatively inclined and typically well-read. You're surrounded by smarties. - There are opportunities to learn and grow even outside of your department if you show initiative and desire. - The owners will know your name and care about your well-being. - There's a company garden. - There are good bunch of employees that have been there for years and years. Turnover is pretty low. - The business has been around since 1996 so it's well established and respected in the industry.

Cons

- It can be frustrating that many initiatives take a long time to come to fruition because it is a relatively small company and there limited resources. - Some of the technology is dated. - Starting wages can be low, but there are opportunities for regular reviews and pay advancements. - Directives from management are sometimes unclear
