Pros

Career advancement was pretty good. Although that was due to the huge turnover. Loved the people I worked with and my direct boss.

Cons

Fear based sales tactics (if you don't meet this goal your fired) awful upper management unorganized, seemed to have a new business model every other week

Pros

Most customers are friendly, my direct supervisor and coworkers are amazing.

Cons

The entire bank is built on inconsistency. There are gaps in everyone’s knowledge concerning procedures and our systems because we were all taught different things. The resources available to fill these gaps either don’t exist or are a complete joke. Most resources are outdated and asking a simple question to our back office can sometimes lead to an entire day of chasing down the one person who has the answer. Upper management doesn’t know how to delegate responsibilities, so middle management often has their hands tied when it comes to everyday processes. Common requests like rate exceptions bottleneck and getting anything signed on time is impossible. New systems, procedures, and “requirements” that could genuinely help the problems we have are talked to death, but then nothing changes. No one actually takes the time or energy to see anything through.
