Pros

Get to work on a decent product and ride the AI wave

Cons

I didn't bother writing a review before, but I got inspired by the recent 1-start review in January, I could have written that one. It's matching my experience 100%. So, I thought that I'd add my 2 cents in the mix. They micromanage. They don't trust you. The requirements can be vague, and they expect you to fill in the gaps. Then they complain that it wasn't good enough or fast enough, and ask you to do it again. You'll end up working really long hours, slowly (or quickly) burning out and losing your will to live. That's why the turnover is so high. Many won't last long at Relevance.ai.

Pros

-Insane traction + genuinely strong customer love. Not just logos, actual usage and impact. It's rewarding to hear we're often one of the few (or only) successful AI projects for our enterprise customers. For a team this size, output is remarkable. -Leadership is legit. High awareness of what’s working/not, and they actually try to unblock vs. just setting top-down mandates. -Work is at the edge of AI. Things change fast, customers are pushing boundaries, and you’re constantly exposed to what’s next. Feels like you’re in it, not watching from the sidelines. -Team is sharp + gets stuff done. Low ego, high ownership. People step up. -Company is in a great spot to ride the next wave. Timing + positioning

Cons

-Not the best fit if you need a lot of structure, process, or hand-holding. Esp if you’re coming from big co or early in career. You have to be comfortable figuring things out. -Pace is very fast. Like… genuinely breakneck. AI space is evolving constantly, which means priorities can shift quickly and sometimes without much notice. -Not a place for micromanagement. You’re expected to operate with autonomy. If you need tight direction day-to-day, this can feel uncomfortable. -Prioritization + comms can occasionally be a bit messy. Things move up/down the stack quickly and context doesn’t always propagate perfectly. -With strong customer traction, teams can get pulled in diff directions. Can feel chaotic at times, esp across GTM/product/eng.

Pros

- I've had a phenomenal experience in my time at Relevance. It offers fast career progression that’s based on impact, not tenure. - Real opportunities to take on meaningful responsibility early. I started in one role and within a year moved into a much more senior position, which would have taken years at most other companies. - Lots of autonomy to shape your own role and scope. I’ve had more freedom here than anywhere else I’ve worked and I’ve seen lots of other people also create roles for themselves based on their strengths and interests. - Founders are very accessible even as the company grows. Daniel, Dan, and Jacky are all great to work with, which makes it easy to get real-time answers, feedback and make an impact.

Cons

- This isn’t the right environment for people who need a lot of structure, guidance, or hand-holding. If you’re a junior looking for formal training, it might not be the best fit.
