Pros

This felt like such a con to me but in reality, the way the company urges their employees to take time for themselves, encourages that work life balance is something not all companies do these days. I mean, at first I was the one that was constantly trying to hoard my PTO but they made it pretty clear that wasn't the right or best choice. Leadership is supportive, they encourage a lot of company in person events for their local staff, and they do a lot within their benefits. The structure has changed a bit since I joined but with those growing pains is a lot of improvements to the over all structure and organization of the company.

Cons

biggest con is because of the size of the company, if your contract ends, they don't have as many opportunities to hold onto employees and move them to another contract these days. That has more to do with the current climate than RD itself but taking that into account, it does add a challenge for them.

Pros

The technical team and Engineers they hire are great. I had a very sweet PM too. That’s it.

Cons

This company will literally choose to pay an Entry-Level a higher salary than you, because the Entry-Level is connected to the PM and the main contractor (illegal). The CEO is a narcissist, and the owner is insufferable. The entire C-suite are patronizing, and anti-employee. The excuse of not providing good healthcare because they are a “Medium-sized company” is just smoke and mirrors. I’ve worked for smaller companies with better pay and benefits. They do not only provide subpar healthcare, but the salary they offer does not make up for it either. I was the top performing RF Engineer, and the least payed on the team. So I quit and they lost their operations RF Engineer. Still couldn’t replace me. Bad decision on their part.
